Children's Party Ideas for Boys
Although most of our party guests are girls we do also love working with little men too. We have lots of charms and beads suitable for boys from skulls, stars and blue, black and silver beads. They happily learn the same skills using jewellery pliers and make keyrings and surfer-type bangles and necklaces.

Jessica's 6th Birthday Butterfly Party
A truly gorgeous party! Thank you to Jessica and all her friends and not forgetting her little brother James! Catherine noticed our listing in Jolly Tots and we chatted over the phone, then decided to meet up in the Corn Exchange in St Ives (I sell my work there on Friday mornings). We talked about the colours for the cakes and what type of jewellery the girls were going to make. We arrived early on the big day to meet Jessica and be ready for all her friends arrival. After the face painting Daddy said that the house was filled with beautiful fairies - they certainly behaved like fairy folk. Catherine said not to worry about James, 3 for the making part of the party but I soon found lots of 'pirate treasure' that he could assemble to make a keyring. All of the girls were delighted with their necklaces and so were mum and dad.

Laura's Butterfly Party
Wow, what a great party! Just got back from an after school party where Laura and nine of her friends excitedly made beautiful charm bracelets. The girls were all from Cambridge and ad just got back from a 'Europe Day' at school - can you guess what they chose for face painting? Flags! Laura was delightful and we all had a great time, thank you to Maggie, Laura's mum for inviting us to share the special day. Also thank you to Jolly Tots Magazine for listing us!

We have started with beads and wire but it will not be long before we get the hammers and piercing saws out! Check out www.aclearning.org.uk for more of my jewellery courses. Teresa x

the sweet kitchen
Our celebrated 'cake lady' Helen has been baking cakes for all of our butterfly parties, her icing is so delicious we are sad when the pot gets emptied! (Amanda & I often sneak a taste on the journey home). Thank you to Helen for all her yummy cakes and for making toppers to please each party girl... from gothic red, black & white to the traditional girly purples and pinks. Just let us know your requirements and I'm sure Helen will come up with something wonderful!
